Mulga Training Network - a collection of people who can teach and those who want to learn. Based on the 1960s style communal learning setup (who will admit to being old enough to remember the "flower power days'?) where skills are shared freely without regard to fees or "prerequiste education standards".

Since 1992 members have been bringing training to outback communities.
All trainers are well qualified in at least two trade areas.
In answer to that frequently asked question ."Are you government funded?" One glance at the MTN car will answer that one!

Since 1992 members of MTN have featured in various TV documentaries - as persons quietly advancing social capital in the outback comunities. There have been no offers from Hollywood though…

Members of the Mulga Mob return a percentage of their income to support the Lest We Forget Memorial Association.

Mulga Training Network includes local tradespersons who offer services and/or training in each of the following:

  • Carpenter - specialising in restoration and replication of antique furniture
  • Sign Creator - vinyl signs for your business
  • Handyman - innovative "give me a ring - I'll fix the thing!!"
  • Horticulture - complete nursery service, training and advice by a local for local conditions
  • Computer System Services - repair, supply, maintain computer hardware and software ?
  • Computer Training - - in a range of software and hardware applications · Workplace Training & Assessment (Certificate IV) - Individual mentoring; RPL
  • Web Site Design, Maintenance & Web Hosting -After setting up your site we can train your staff to keep the site & running smoothly.
